This was such a super emotional book for me! I think its one of my favorites. This was such an awesome ending to the series. I was sad to see it end but happy at the same time...if that makes sense...bittersweet. I knew Beast was going to be a doozy...just knew it. It totally was. I loved Beast because heck yeah he was scary but you can't help but love him and be near this lion. He's had his own hell with what happened to his Pride and everyone labeling him a murderer. I laughed and cried in this book. I cried a lot. Dustin as always made me laugh and seriously that part where him and Emma were chasing Justin in his precious car and before he would clip that vehicle...he made Beast say it. "Your my best friend." That was just priceless to me and really fitting! I loved Kiera...she's really been to hell and back. I am not going to say a whole lot because I want people to read this. Kane and Rowan yeah perfect alphas and what Winter is doing for them is so cool. As always T.S. Joyce delivers one hell of a book! I love her so hard but not in a stalker like way. :) I can't wait to see what she does next. I know we still have some more Winterset Coven coming. That doesnt feel finished yet. :)Product details

Beast is or was the King of all Lions, until his entire Pride turned up dead. Over 10 lioness gone in a slaughter, by what most were told was the Beast himself.
Kiera Pierce is an old friend of Kane's whom he has been trying to find for years. Ever since she left Apex after the supposed cure. Her life has been find but she has been hoping to get her Lioness back. She went to a Lion and asked to be bitten to she if her Lioness was come forward after she heard that Kane had regained his dragon. What she was pregnant with a Lion Cub, and a mating bite that did not work. Her appearance in the crew has beast ready to pounce, but is has Kiera's heart in a flutter and hope that he will consider her as a mate and take on her cub.
Read and find out this one plays out. It quite a story to be sure.
First I have to say I can't believe it's over. My love for this crew is never ending but this book was the cherry on top. Beast is what really brought this group of misfits together. Like everyone in the Blackwing crew his lion is broken and his story is hard. He has come to Kane's mountains to live in peace and die. He was once a strong, powerful and proud Alpha and now he just wants to be left alone. Keira has lost her lion and is trying to find help in Kane's mountains. She is running scared but has a instant attraction to the scariest one of them all. With their past and futures tied together they must fight together and learn to accept help from the crew. Great Ending now she just has to do a family reunion Barbecue.
This is Beast and Kiera's story and OMG what a story. I couldn't wait for Beast's story. He was my favorite member of the D-Team.
Beast is a monster of a man and a lion shifter.
Kiera is a rogue ex lioness who was in Apex with Kane. She's running to keep something precious from the lion pride. She hopes Kane will be able to help her.
Kiera, the poor girl she had been through so much. The D-Team just dragged her in kicking and screaming, but she accepted them and they accepted her.
Can Beast keep Keira safe from those hunting her and his own self?
This is the first series I've read by this author and I thoroughly enjoy her light and fun writing style. I can't wait to read more from her.
One of the best in this series!!! Beast and Keira were amazing. He is a Lion shifter who list his pride and he has been living with the rumors for a while now. He has been living with the Blackwing crew, but has not registered. He has a goal he wants and needs to achieve. He ends up stalking a stalker...a beautiful stalker.
Kieran has lost much and has suffered tremendously. She has dealt with damage that a life in a facility can cause. She has been stalking the Blackwing crew for a reason. When she is confronted by a scared and handsome shifter she realizes who he is. He is a murderer and she was it's nothing to do with him.
This one touched my heart because you fall in love with both characters. I fell in love with Beast and his whole story... past and present.
I love the Blackwing crew. Dustin is a hoot for sure. He reminds me of Willa from this author's previous stories. I would live a long Christmas story with all the crews being involved. The older crew members and the new younger ones. It would be great to have Dustin and Willa reeking havoc. It would be funny as heck.
Man, I love this author. As each new character comes forth to tell his/her story, I always wonder if this one will be as good, if I'll love this character as much as I have loved each of the others. And I always do. It's been awesome to see Kane reconnect with the shifters who shared his trauma at Apex, to see them rediscover their animals after having them ripped from them as children. All the shifters of Kane's mountains are setting their feet on the path to becoming whole again, and it is so great to experience that with them as a reader of this fantastic series. The characters and stories I love the best are the ones with the greatest obstacles to overcome. I loved Beast's and Kiera's stories. I was dying to learn what had really happened to Beast's pride, and how he got his scars, and the story did not disappoint. I love love love Beast's friendship with Dustin! Dustin is my favorite character in this series. If Air Ryder from Harper's Mountains and Clinton from Damon's Mountains had a baby together, it would be Dustin. I solo want to see some interaction between Ryder and Dustin. Please, Miss Joyce, can we have some more? Can't wait to see what comes next!
